SUPPORTIVE ED ONE MOBILE APP PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Last Updated: August 30, 2026

1. Introduction

Supportive ED, Inc, doing business as Supportive ED (“Supportive ED,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of students, parents, guardians, educators, and other users of the Supportive ED One mobile application (“App”).

The App is a branded mobile application hosted and maintained through the Kajabi platform. It provides access to Supportive ED courses, educational resources, community features, coaching features, notifications, and related services.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected through the App, how that information may be used and disclosed, and the choices available to users and parents or guardians.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through:

  • The Supportive ED One mobile application;
  • Supportive ED content delivered through the App;
  • Kajabi-hosted account, course, community, coaching, and support features available within the App; and
  • Communications generated through the App, including account and push notifications.

This policy does not apply to separately operated websites, surveys, forms, school systems, district systems, dashboards, or third-party services that may be linked from the App. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Kajabi’s Role

Supportive ED One is built and hosted using Kajabi. Kajabi provides the technology, hosting, account management, analytics, communications, and other services necessary to operate the App.

For information belonging to Supportive ED users, Kajabi generally acts as a service provider or data processor on behalf of Supportive ED. Supportive ED determines how information submitted through our App is used for our educational and business purposes.

Kajabi may independently process certain technical information as described in Kajabi’s own privacy notices and contractual terms.

4. Age Requirements and Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old.

Children under age 13 may not create an account, submit personal information, or use the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information and terminate or restrict the associated account. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided information through the App should contact us using the information provided at the end of this policy.

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should use the App only:

  • With the knowledge and permission of a parent or legal guardian; or
  • Through a school, district, GEAR UP program, or other sponsoring organization authorized to provide access in accordance with applicable law.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy with their student and supervise the student’s use of interactive or community features.

If purchases are offered through the App, Apple, Google, Kajabi, or another authorized payment provider may process the transaction. We may receive information such as the product purchased, transaction status, subscription status, and refund status.

Supportive ED does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers processed by Apple, Google, or another payment provider.

6. How We Use Information

We may use information collected through the App to:

  • Detect misuse, unauthorized access, fraud, or violations of our policies;
  • Analyze general usage and improve the App and our educational content;
  • Comply with legal, contractual, reporting, and recordkeeping obligations; and
  • Protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Supportive ED, Kajabi, sponsoring organizations, and others.

Known student information is not used to create advertising profiles or deliver targeted behavioral advertising.

Operational communications concerning an account, course, security matter, or school-sponsored program may be sent even when a user has opted out of promotional communications.

7. When Information May Be Disclosed

We may disclose information in the following circumstances.

Kajabi and Service Providers

Information may be provided to Kajabi and other vendors that perform hosting, account administration, analytics, communications, technical support, security, payment processing, or similar services on our behalf.

These providers are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide their contracted services or as otherwise allowed by law.

Schools and Sponsoring Organizations

When access is paid for, assigned, or sponsored by a school, district, GEAR UP program, or another organization, we may provide authorized representatives of that organization with information such as:

  • Student name and account status;
  • Course enrollment;
  • Participation and progress;
  • Completion status;
  • Assessment or activity results; and
  • Information needed for program administration, support, evaluation, or reporting.

Students and parents should understand that activity completed through a sponsored account may be visible to authorized staff of the sponsoring organization.

Apple and Google

Apple or Google may receive information related to downloading the App, device operation, push notifications, in-app purchases, subscriptions, refunds, or account deletion. Their collection and use of information are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Legal, Safety, and Security Purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or governmental request;
  • Investigate fraud, security incidents, or illegal activity;
  • Enforce our agreements and policies;
  • Protect the safety of a user or another person; or
  • Protect the legal rights or property of Supportive ED, our users, sponsoring organizations, or service providers.

Organizational Transactions

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar organizational transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.

With Permission or Direction

We may disclose information when a user, parent, guardian, or authorized sponsoring organization directs or authorizes us to do so.

8. Sale of Personal Information and Advertising

Supportive ED does not sell or rent personal information collected through the App.

We do not sell student information, use student information for targeted behavioral advertising, or allow third parties to build advertising profiles based on a student’s educational activity in the App.

We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under age 18 for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. School-Sponsored and Student Information

When information is provided by or on behalf of a school, district, GEAR UP program, or other educational organization, Supportive ED may process that information as a service provider to the sponsoring organization.

Where applicable, student information will be handled according to:

  • Our agreement with the sponsoring organization;
  • The sponsoring organization’s instructions;
  • Applicable federal and state student-privacy requirements; and
  • Applicable record-retention and reporting requirements.

Depending on the circumstances, the sponsoring school or organization may control the educational record. Requests to access, correct, or delete school-provided information may therefore need to be submitted directly to that organization. We may refer a request to the appropriate organization for handling.

10. Community and Interactive Features

Information posted in a community, discussion, coaching, or similar interactive area may be visible to other authorized users, moderators, Supportive ED personnel, and sponsoring-organization personnel.

Users should not post private contact information, passwords, school identification numbers, health information, financial information, or other sensitive information in these areas.

We may review, moderate, restrict, or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce our policies, respond to a report, or comply with law. However, no online community can be guaranteed to be completely private.

11. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the App and educational services;
  • Maintain an active account;
  • Fulfill school, program, grant, contractual, or reporting requirements;
  • Resolve disputes;
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud;
  • Enforce our agreements; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and whether an account is individually purchased or sponsored by an educational organization.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, deidentify it, or retain it in a restricted backup system until deletion is reasonably possible.

12. Security

We and our service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure.

No mobile application, internet transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials, using a secure password, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized account access.

13. User and Parent Choices

Subject to applicable law and contractual requirements, users—and parents or guardians acting on behalf of a minor—may request to:

  • Access personal information associated with an account;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Delete certain personal information or an account;
  • Obtain a copy of certain information;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or
  • Ask questions about how information is used.

We may need to verify the identity and authority of the person submitting a request. Some information may not be deleted when retention is required by law, a sponsoring-organization agreement, legitimate security needs, or an applicable educational-record requirement.

Accounts created directly through the App may also have an in-app account-deletion option. Deleting the App from a device does not necessarily delete the associated account or all records.

Users may disable push notifications through their device settings. Promotional emails may be discontinued using the unsubscribe link included in the email. Account, security, course, and program-related communications may still be sent when necessary.

14. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain states may have additional rights regarding their personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their information and to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling.

Supportive ED does not discriminate against individuals for exercising rights available under applicable privacy law.

Because we do not sell personal information or use App information for targeted behavioral advertising, there may be no sale or targeted-advertising activity from which to opt out.

15. External Links and Services

The App may contain links to websites, forms, videos, documents, or services operated by schools, government agencies, educational partners, or other third parties.

This Privacy Policy does not govern information collected after a user leaves the App or accesses a separately operated service. Users and parents should review the privacy notice of each external service before providing information.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, our practices, Kajabi features, or applicable law.

The updated policy will be posted at the privacy-policy address associated with the App. The “Last Updated” date will indicate when the policy was most recently revised. When required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying a material change.
